Notts County v Hartlepool *Over 2.5 Goals*

Notts County will welcome Hartlepool to Meadow Lane on Sunday Afternoon as two of the in form teams of the English League One lock horns.

Just Goal difference separate these two sides in the league table with 19 points each so far this season.

Despite losing their last game to the MK Dons 3-0, Notts County are on great form and before that defeat were unbeaten in 5 games.

They won 4 of those 5 games and as a result of this manager Martin Allen picked up the manager of the month award.

He just pipped his opposite number, Hartlepool boss Mick Wadsworth to the post who was the runner up for this award.

Wadsworth has already spoke out about getting his revenge by ordering his team to play for all 3 points for a win which could see them rise upto 4th in the league.

Because of the nature of this game and both sides looking like a close match up, the 1x2 market does not really interest me as I really feel the game could go either way.

I am a lot more confident of seeing goals however.

4 of Notts county's 5 home games have already gone over 2.5 goals this season with 2 of these featuring at least 4 goals.

In fact there have been a massive 21 goals involved in their 6 home games in all competitions.

Hartlepool are also on decent form, they also lost their most recent league game but before that had won their last 4 games in a row.

They are undefeated away from home in the league after 5 games winning 3 of these.

Hartlepool really take the game to their opponents, they play without fear and this has created very open end to end games on their travels.

All 5 of Hartlepool's away games this season have gone over 2.5 goals with 3 of these beating the 3.5 goals mark.

In those 5 games there have been 22 goals involved in total.

Notts County are a very attacking home side and Hartlepool a very attacking away side, when two sides of this nature meet up it usually amounts to goals with both sides hitting each other on the breaks.

With all of the above in mind I am surprised to see the 1.92 on offer with Pinnacle for over 2.5 goals in this game with most bookies around the 1.8 mark.

Either way I would have it at around 1.75 so there is some definite value here.
