Free Football Betting Tip:- Teplice v *Sparta Praha*

Teplice will host League Leaders Sparta Praha on Monday evening in the Czech Liga.

Teplice have had an average start to the season, they currently sit in midtable with 14 points from 10 games.

Whilst they maybe happy with 4 wins to their name, 3 of those came away from home and its at home where they have really been struggling so far.

Their only home win came against Pribram 2-1 and Teplice have already lost to Hradec Kralove 0-3 and Mlada Boleslav 1-3.

Teplice were promoted from the second division the season before last and whilst they will be happy to have survived their first season back in the top flight, they wont be challenging for any honours in the near future.

The reason is the quality gap between the top 3 or 4 teams in this league to everyone else.

Whilst the top teams have their off days (same as in any league) sides like Teplice are very rarely able to compete with them in the league.

This may have not been said of Sparta Praha last season, they are the first to admit they suffered one too many blips last season despite finishing Second in the league, however they look back to their absolute best this season.

Sparta Praha did lose their last league game which was home defeat but before that they had won their last 9 games in a row in all competitions, scoring 26 goals and conceding just 3 times during that run.

They followed up that defeat by  bouncing back in the cup Wednesday night recording a 1-4 win at Znojmo.
Sparta Praha are top of the league currently with a 5 point cushion and also this game in hand.

They have won 9 of their 10 league games.

They have already beaten the other 2 biggest sides in this league, Jablonec 2-1 at home and even more impressively beating Champions Victoria Plzen 0-2 on their own turf, a game in which they dominated from the word go.

Praha have been exceptional away from home winning all 5 of their games so far.

They have kept 4 clean sheets in their last 4 away games whilst scoring 9.

Sparta Praha certainly look to be at their best after losing out on the championship narrowly last year and they are rightful favourites to win it back this time round.

I rarely find much value in the 1x2 markets but the 1.8 on offer with Stan James for the away win appeals massively to me.

We have an average side at home who are playing their best football away, against the strongest side in the league who are currently playing their best football away.

I am convinced Sparta Praha will run out comfortable winners in this one and I feel the odds will have shortened in the lead up to the game so take the 1.8.

NO BET DAY 23/10/11

Despite a range of fixtures today, nothing really interests me so I am going to take the opportunity to have a day off and spend some quality time with the other half and kids.

Good luck to anyone parting with their cash today

Free Football Betting Tip:- Fluminense *Score Both Halves* v Atletico Mineiro

Fluminense will welcome Atletico Mineiro to Rio tonight as both sides aiming for points at opposite ends of the Brazilian Serie A.

Fluminense are on fantastic form currently and they just 5 points away from league leaders Corinthians, a side they recently beat at home.

They have only tasted defeat once in their past 6 games which was a 3-2 away loss at their great rivals Flamengo.

Fluminense were seriously unlucky in that game however and led the game 2-1 only to concede 2 silly goals in the final minutes of the game.

Other then that they have been great and their recent home record is outstanding.

They have won 9 of their last 10 home games including their last 5 in a row.

They have scored at least once in all 10 of these games

The majority of these games have been won very comfortably and in their last 5 games they have scored 13 times.

Last time out Fluminense beat Cortiba here 3-1 and missed a penalty in the second half, when Fluminense need a win they attack from the first minute of the game and they are very exciting to watch.

They have some great attackers in the likes of Fred, Rafael Moura and Rafael Sobis who have scored a combined 28 goals so far this season.

Fred has been the most impressive, he netted a hatrick in that 3-1 win over Cortiba and in their most recent game, a 1-2 win away to Palmeiras he scored both goals, bringing his total tally this season to 10.

Portuguese veteran Deco, although at the latter end of his career is still a constant threat on the ball and has not lost any of his creativity from midfield.

Mineiro are at the other end of the table and involved in a relegation battle.

They are in the drop zone currently and need a win tonight to take them out of it.

They are on poor form with just 1 win in their last 7 games.

That win came at home and away from home is where they really struggle.

Mineiro have won just once away from home in 15 games and they have lost 11 of them.

I predict Mineiro will be relegated this season, they are on a downward spiral at the moment and the players just look to have no confidence or self belief what so ever.

This is still a game in which they are going to have to play for a win however, in fact every game is now if they are to get out of the drop zone, but I just don't see it happening.

With both teams needing the 3 points this should create yet another very open game in Rio and I can easily see Fluminense getting on the score sheet in both halves of this match, the same way they have in their last 6 halves in Rio.

With odds as low as 1.44 for the home win there is some fantastic value at 2.5 with Paddy Power for Fluminense to score in Both Halves and that's what I will be taking for my second tip of the day.

Football News :- Solskjaer to return to England?

Former Manchester United star Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is Portsmouth FC's top target to take over as manager.

Solskjaer who has also been linked with the Blackburn Rovers hotseat has impressed since taking the manager job at Molde back in his home country of Norway and is close to wrapping up the championship for them.

Last night Portsmouth owner Vladimir Antonov flew out to Norway to try and convince the Norwegian legend to take the reins of his club back in England.

The 38 year old was Reserve Chief of Manchester United after he retired from football and as a player he made 366 appearances for the club and scored 126 goals.

I personally was a huge fan of Solskjaer as a player and would love to see him one day match Sir Alex Ferguson head to head in a premier League game.
My most memorable moment of his career was his last min goal which you can see in this tribute video below

Free Football Betting Tip:- Malaga v Real Madrid (Score In Both Halves)

Malaga play host to Real Madrid on Saturday night in the Spanish Liga

Real Madrid have been on fire this season, I have been tipping them regularly in a variety of markets this year as they continue to impress me under Jose Mourinho.

This season he has them in the best possible shape and I feel they have their best opportunity to challenge Barcelona for the Championship and also European success.

They destroyed teams throughout pre season and out played Barcelona over two legs in the Spanish Super Copa despite losing out in the end by a single late goal.

In the Liga they have slipped up once away to Levante although they did play most of the game with just 10 men and Ozil and Ronaldo both started on the bench.

They have already had some spectacular wins this campaign and have won their last 5 games in a row in all competitions.

Real have won 0-6 at Zaragoza and 0-4 at Espanyol this season and have had other wins of 6-2 over Rayo Vallecano and recently in the league they beat Betis 4-1.

In Europe Real have won all 3 of their games without conceding a goal.

Real have so much class throughout their side with the likes of Ronaldo, Ozil, Benzema, Higuian, De Maria, Alonso, Kaka amongst many other household names.

They are now a unit and play their football as a unit and I feel they are capable of scoring goals where ever they go.

Malaga have been playing well this season to be fair too them, despite being held away to Zaragoza and losing to both Levante and Sevilla  on the road, they have been saving their best football for their home fans and have won all 3 of their games so far.

The thing is, they haven't really been tested yet I don't feel, at home anyway.

They beat Granada 4-0 in their opener but Granada have been very poor so far and I am convinced they will go straight back down this season.

Malaga then beat Athletic Bilbao 1-0 who are another team playing very below par.

Their most recent home game was a 3-2 win over Getafe, so their home defence was compromised for the first time here on two separate occasions.

The visit of Real Madrid will be their first big test for their defence and I cant imagine them being able to cope with it.

Malaga struggle at the back against pace and that is a massive thing Ronaldo and Co will be bringing with them, they just have bags of the stuff.

If Madrid have a weakness it would be that they do still on occasion concede silly goals, so I wouldn't write off Malaga scoring in this game.

That is why my best bet for this game would be once again, Real Madrid to Score in Both Halves.

Real will score against most of their opponents in both halves this season, whether they are playing home or away is not an issue, they just have too much in attack to not score goals.

Get ready for some value, Totesport currently have this market priced at 2.25, this is a great price and needs to be taken quickly in my opinion, other bookies have this as low as 1.75 which is a lot nearer to what I would personally price this market at.

Free Football Betting Tip:- Telstar v MVV *Over 3 Goals*

Telstar welcome MVV to the TATA Steel Stadium tonight in the Dutch Eerste Divisie.

I'm going back to the Second tier of Dutch football tonight or the land of goals, as I like to call it.

After tipping Telstar and Fortuna Sittard to produce over 3 goals on Monday night, I sat down to enjoy the game.

As predicted we saw an open end to end game and in the end it featured a massive 7 goals with Telstar winning 2-5.

Although Telstar only conceded 2 goals that night, they defended terribly and they should have conceded 3 goals in the first 15 minutes of the game to be fair.

Defences were all over the shop from both teams and open chances were continually created.

I was not surprised to see the game play out as it did, that is a typical kind of game in this league, rarely a week goes past where you don't see a game feature at least 5 goals and the majority of games all feature at least 3.

I mentioned in my last tip that I used to put a £10 accumulator on every game in this division to go over 2.5 goals and it used to come in often.

Telstar return tonight to face MVV and I expect more of the same tonight from this one.

That game against Sittard was Telstar's 6th game out of their last 7 to go over the 2.5 goal mark with 5 of those going over 3.5 and some beyond that.

Like their 7-3 defeat to Zwolle in their game before that and their 3-2 defeat to Willem II not long before that.

Football is rarely played in any other style in this league with both sides usually just taking it turns to attack each other at full throttle, this leads to plenty of attempts and goal and more importantly defencive errors which can sometimes offer goals on a plate.

MVV fall into this category also, 8 of their 10 games in all competitions this season have gone over 2.5 goals with 5 of those going over 3.5 and beyond.

Also 4 of those 5 games came away from home which aids this bet massively.

They recently lost 2-1 at Go Ahead Eagles, hammered ARC 0-8 in the cup and before that were involved in a 3-3 draw at Dordrecht and just last week drew 3-3 again, this time with Helmond Sport.

So as you can see, MVV are another side that consistency scores and concedes goals for fun.

Its obvious what to expect when 2 sides like this are due to meet and over 2.5 goals at 1.57 looks a given.

Instead though I fancy the game to go over 3.5 again although as I did on Monday I will take over 3 goals just in case the unpredictably of this league catches up with us.

This way if the game features exactly 3 goals then we will have our stakes returned and the bet is effectively void.

Over 3 goals is still available at a very generous 2.06 with Ladbrokes, I feel any game in this division offering above evens for over 3 goals is worth taking in its current state and some bookies are as low as 1.88 for this same market so snap it up quick.

Football News :- Six Bayern fans stabbed in the lead up to Napoli game!

Football was brought into shame again on Tuesday night as Six Bayern Munich fans were stabbed before their game with Napoli.

Football hooligans acting under the name ''Ultras'' left what they call their calling card on the German fans, which involves being slashed across the buttocks by knife wielding gang members on scooters.

Flares were also thrown at visiting fans inside the stadium and now Manchester City fans are on alert as they prepare to visit the city for their Champions League fixture.

This has bought shame on football as a sport and also the city of Naples, also all of this just a year after Liverpool fans were attacked after their visit to Italy.

If you are a Manchester City fan travelling to the game please be wary of these dangers.

Free Football Betting Tip:- AZ Alkmaar (Score In Both Halves) v Austria Wien

Dutch League leaders AZ Alkmaar welcome Austria Wien to the Netherlands on Thursday evening .

AZ are surprising everyone in the Netherlands at the moment, they are top of the league after 9 games and have only lost once this season.

They have won 7 of their league games and in the process have banged in 23 goals.

AZ are unbeaten in 11 games in all competitions and have won 9 of these games.

AZ play their best football in front of their home fans, they haven't lost here since February which was a defeat at the hands of PSV.

That is now a run of 18 home games without a loss and they have amazingly won 16 of these games including their last 11 in a row!

This has included home wins over Twente 2-1, PSV 3-1, Feyenoord 2-1, NEC 4-0, AGOVV 5-0, De Graafschap 5-1.

In the Europa league AZ have already had wins this year at home to Jablonec 2-0, Aalesund 6-0 and most recently a 4-1 win over Swedish outfit Malmo.

None of these teams are easy to beat but AZ have showed so much ability whilst playing at home, especially in attack.

AZ have a very young squad, last season you could see a lot of their players starting to come of age, they lacked a lot of experience but the potential of the squad was as clear as day.

Luckily through pre season AZ have managed to keep hold of the majority of those players and they have just seemed to all click at once.

Because of this youth AZ have so much energy, they are a side full of ideas and are a constant threat on the ball.

I love to watch them play and the Europa League is a big deal for these players and it tells in their performances.

For a lot of these players, they will go on to bigger and better things I am sure, to win something like the Europa league so early in their careers would go great on their CV's and I honestly feel they have the potential to go all the way in this competition, expect to see them there or there about's towards the end.

Their opponents today Austria Wien are not on bad form it has to be said.

Despite losing their last game, they had previously won 5 games in a row.

They are 2nd in the league with 20 points from 11 games.

Lets face it though, the Austrian league is a weak one, it doesn't produce good teams often in European Competition and when compared to the Dutch League which is growing in quality year after year, there is a big gap in class between the 2 nations.

I am not saying that Wien are not capable of taking something from this game, if they played out of their skins they would have chances.

I cannot however see them being able to stop wave after wave of AZ attacks and they will concede goals.

Wien have conceded at least 1 goal in all of their last 10 games in all competitions, even the 5 games in a row they did win they just couldn't keep a clean sheet.

They have already lost 2 of their 3 Europa League games and have also conceded in all 3 of those.

Wien are just another one of those teams that I love including in bets involving goals as they get into their stride they take more and more risks going forward and get mauled on counter attacks, something that AZ have executed to a devastating effect this season at times.

Over 2.5 goals looks almost certain to me in this one but the odds are very short indeed around the 1.44 mark.

Instead I like AZ to score in both halves in this game, which they have been doing regularly at home recently and is available at 1.91 with Coral.

NO BET DAY 19/10/11

Sometimes you just have a day where nothing jumps out at you from a betting point of view and today is one of those days.

We have had 16 winners in a row so today Im going to sit back and enjoy some of those winnings.

There are simply to many maybes today in my eyes and I have spent all morning trying to find some value but to no avail so my advice is enjoy the games that are on tonight from a spectators view and prepare for tomorrow as there are some tasty looking fixtures coming up.

Football News :- ''Man City Want Me'' Claims Abidal

Barcelona defender Eric Abidal has told press that Manchester City are after him.

He has said there are a number of clubs interested in signing him including PSG and AC Milan.

The Frenchman has failed to agree on contract terms with current club Barcelona and his patience may be running thin.
He says ''I have a lot of respect for Barcelona, but if a deal cannot be reached then the door is always open''

Mancini was after a left back last summer before he signed Clichy but whether or not he would still be interested in making a move for the 32 year old is yet to be seen.

Abidal at 32 years old still believes he has what it takes to be playing at the top level for at least another 2 years and he confident in his chances of playing in the 2014 World Cup.

Free Football Betting Tip:- Man Utd (-1.5 Asian Handicap) v Otelul Galati

Manchester United travel to Romania tonight in the European Champions League to face Otelul Galati i a game in which both sides really need the 3 points.

Galati have lost both of their 2 games so far in this group stage, they lost away at Basel 2-1 and were beaten at home by Benfica 0-1.

Whilst these games looked tight on paper, Galati were lucky to not concede more in both of these games and tonight they should leave themselves a lot more open.

If they don't play for the win tonight it leaves them pretty much no chance of qualification, as little chance they have anyway they will be desperate to at least give it a go tonight.

They have had to move from their home stadium to the capital tonight to up their capacity which will be an advantage for Manchester United tonight, ok so there will be more Romanian support but The red devils will have the benefit of not having to play them where they are used to the most, on their home turf.

Domestically, Galati are playing no where near the same level of football that won them the championship last season.

They are 9th in the league and have lost 4 of their 10 matches!
This is only 2 less that they lost the entire length of last season.

At home they won just 1 of their 5 games and suffered a 0-4 loss to Cluj as well as being held on 3 other occasions.

These opponents have no where near the same kind of ability that Manchester United hold so you can be confident this home defence can easily be penetrated at times.

Manchester United come into this game after their 1-1 draw with Liverpool and will be helped massively by that Rooney, Nani and Hernandez were all rested for the majority of the match.

Manchester United are unbeaten since last seasons Champions League final.
A run of 16 games unbeaten if you include all their pre season games.

We have already seen them put 8 past Arsenal, 5 past Bolton, 3 past Chelsea and of course 3 past Manchester City in the Charity shield so no one can doubt their goal scoring prowess.

In the Champions League they have been held to a draw in both of their games but I feel that aids this bet tonight as nothing but a win will be acceptable.

Manchester United travel well in Europe, in fact they have only been beaten twice away since May 2007, a run of 26 games.

Manchester United's movement has been exceptional this season, they have been scoring goals for fun and Ashley Young on the wing has played a huge part in the number of those goals.

With Nani on the opposite flank and a fully fit Rooney and Hernandez, any side in the world will have huge problems keeping this attack out for long.

Manchester United should easily cover the -1.5 handicap tonight in my opinion and that's what I'm on.

Titan bet have this at 2.02 and this price is out of line with every other bookie so take advantage of it now before they either take a flurry of money or they realise their mistake.

Free Football Betting Tip:- Real Madrid (Score In Both Halves) v Lyon

Real Madrid host Lyon tonight in the European Champions League in a fixture that looks rather familiar.
These two sides have met in the group stage of both the last two competitions so this will be their 5th meeting in the last 3 years.

Real will be the first to admit that Lyon have been a bit of a bogey team for them in the last decade however people can read into that as much as they like, this is here and now and Real are playing their best football right now then they have been over the past 10 years.

Lyon are also not the same team they once were and although they 3rd in the French League, they are not the dominant force they once were.

Real Madrid have been sublime this season, they breezed through pre season smashing goals in at every venue.

They out played Barcelona in the Spanish Super Copa despite losing out over 2 legs to a last minute goal.

Real have had one hiccup in the league losing out 1-0 to a Levante side, who are also playing their best football for quite some time, although Real did play half of that game with 10 men.

Apart from that game, Real have hardly broken a sweat yet, destroying Zaragoza 0-6 and Espanyol 0-4 both away from home.

Where they have looked their best however is at the Bernabeu, where they have won their last 5 games in a row in all competitions.

They recently beat Real Betis 4-1 just last Saturday and have also beat Rayo Vallecano 6-2 (another game where they played the majority of the match with just 10 men!) Getafe 4-2 and they beat Ajax 3-0 here in their first Champions League game of this Campaign .

Whilst they still do concede silly goals at times, you cant fault their attack, it just oozes class.

Ronaldo has already scored 7 times this season and he has been his usual sensational self since pre season, Mourinho now has the luxury of choosing from 2 in form strikers as well with both Higuain (8 goals) and Benzema (3 goals) both playing great football at present.

Backed up by the likes of Alonso, Ozil, De maria Kaka, Khedira and its easy to see that this side is capable of scoring goals past any team, any where, the fact that this game is at the Bernabeu tonight makes it even more appealing.

Apart from their loss to Barca last season Real have now recorded 6 wins from 6 games at home in the Champions League, finding the net 18 times and conceding not once, an awesome stat!

Lyon have done well to keep themselves in with a chance in the French Ligue 1 after so many had written off their chances of competing before the first game of the season had even kicked off.

It shows they are not the force they once were however, last season they finished 12 points away from champions Lille and they can count themselves lucky to even be in the Champions League this season.

The loss of Benzema to Real Madrid was an obvious blow to them when it happened and they have since lost Juninho also.

Its at home where Lyon are at their strongest and they are not a good travelling side.

In fact they have won just 1 of their last 6 away games and have lost their last 2 in a row in the league, once to leaders PSG and the other to Caen.

Lyon failed to beat Ajax away from home in their last  Champions League game and have actually only won once on the road in Europe in 10 attempts!

For me Real could concede tonight despite their impressive record, they have in the league against teams with less ability then Lyon, but one thing you can bank on them doing is scoring goals, they will just have too much in attack for Lyon tonight but lets face it they would against most teams.

For this reason the asian handicap scares me off a little bit and the odds are low anyway, with Real as low as 1.18 with bookies for the outright win, all the value for me tonight lays in backing Real to score in both halves.

They are as low as 1.57 with Victor Chandler to do this tonight yet you can get 1.8 with Coral, I would be very surprised to see this price stay so high throughout the day so if your thinking of following this tip I recommend getting your bets on now.

Football Legends profile No 6 :- Ruud Gullit

Ruud Gullit was a Dutch footballer born on 1/9/1962.
Throughout his career he played in several different positions but will be remembered best for his midfield roles.

Gullit started his career playing in Holland at the age of 16 for Haarlem.
He spent 8 seasons in Holland, 3 years at Haarlem and Feyenoord and 2 years at PSV before he was eyed up by AC Milan in 1987.
During his time in Holland he scored 129 goals from just 273 appearances.
He won an Eredivisie title with Feyenoord in 1984 and 2 titles with PSV in 86 and 87.

Gullit will be best known for his time at AC Milan where he spent 6 seasons and came back for a short spell later in his career.
He also had 2 spells at Sampdoria during his time in Italy, overall he made 229 appearances scoring 89 goals.
He won 3 Serie A titles, 2 European Cups and 3 Supercoppia  Italiana's.

Ruud Gullit left Italy to play for Chelsea in England where he later was appointed player Manager, he spent 3 years there and was eventually sacked after a dispute with the board.

Gullit carried on his managerial career and has since managed Newcastle, Feyenoord, LA Galaxy and a very brief time at Russian Club Terek Grozny where he was sacked after just 3 games just 4 months ago.

Gullit was a very exciting player to watch play football and he will always be remembered as one of the legends of football.

Ruud Gullit won 2 world footballer of the year awards in 87 and 89.
He represented his country at an international level earning 66 caps.
There is a video below featuring some of his great moments, I hope you enjoy.

Football News :- Suarez ''I am no racist!''

Liverpool's Luiz Suarez has hit back at claims from Manchester United Defender that he is a racist.

The claims come after the two sides met at Anfield Saturday lunchtime, the French left back insists that Suarez insulted him with word N***** on at least 10 different occasions during the game.

Suarez is said to be furious with the allegation and last night on twitter he tweeted :-

"I am upset by the accusations of racism. I can only say that I have always respected everybody. We are all the same''
"I go on to the field with the illusion of a little child who enjoys what he does, not to create conflicts."
Suarez was banned from the game for 2 months whilst playing for Ajax after biting PSV's  Otman Bakkal and with Eva due to speak to FA officials this week about the incident, if he is found guilty a similar sort of punishment could await him.

Free Football Betting Tip:- Fortuna Sittard v Telstar *Over 3 Goals*

Fortuna Sittard host Telstar tonight in the second tier of Dutch Football the Eerste Divisie.

The Netherlands are well renowned for producing games with plenty of goals, the International side do, the Top Flight Eredivisie do and this second division are no different.

In fact they produce even more goals, taking a look at the final scores on from this league on a Friday night looks more like Rugby scores then football sometimes, there used to be a time where I would put a £10 accumulator on every game of the night featuring over 2.5 goals and you would be surprised about the amount of times it would come in.

Tonight two of the sides that have produced the most goals over the past couple of seasons meet up and they have started this season off in the exact same fashion.

Fortuna Sittard have played 9 games in all competitions so far this season, apart from their first league game, 1 of their last 8 games went over 2.5 goals with all of their other 7 games going over 3.5 goals!

Their last 8 games have featured a combined 37 goals in total.

At home they have played 5 times this season, once in the cup, the other 4 times in the league, 4 of those 5 games went over 3.5 goals and the other game over 2.5.

It has not been all one way traffic, in fact they have actually won 3 of their home games, they score heavily and they concede heavily and that has been the nature of Fortuna Sittard's style of play for quite some time now.

The visitors today Telstar are the same sort of Gun Ho team, they looked like they had turned a corner in their first two league games this season with a 0-0 and 0-1 loss, I wondered if they had actually learnt the importance of defending?

It was not to be however and Telstar were soon back to their usual selves.

Since those first 2 games of the season, Telstar have played 6 other league games, 5 of those games all beat the 2.5 goal mark with 4 of those going over 3.5 goals.

Away from home 5 of their last 6 games have gone over 2.5 goals and 4 of those going over 3.5 goals.
Their last away game was a game I watched as I had tipped their opponents Zwolle to win that game, I was beyond belief at half time, the first half had featured a massive 8 goals!

The game eventually finished 7-3 to the hosts and it was one of the most entertaining games I had seen in a long time.

Ok so the defensive skills of either team was nothing to be impressed about but for sheer entertainment value it was like a basketball match with each side taking it in turns to attack each other, every time one of the teams retrieved the ball you expected them to go up and stick it in the net, which a lot of the time they did!

This is the way Fotuna Sittard play at home anyway so if Telstar come and play the same sort of football tactically as they did at Zwolle this will turn into a similar sort of game Iv no doubt.

I was tempted to take the over 3.5 goals straight which is available at a very generous 2.5, however another thing this league is famous for is its unpredictability, therefore to be safe I am going to take the over 3 goals bet which is on offer at 1.9 at Ladbrokes, that way in the very unlikely scenario of there being just 3 goals scored the bet will not count as a loss and our stakes returned, a void bet if you like.

Free Football Betting Tip:- Rosenborg (score in both halves) v Aalesund

Norwegian Champions Rosenborg will welcome Aalesund to Trondheim tonight in the Norwegian Eliteserien.

Any one that  follows my tips regularly will know that I am a fan of Rosenborg, I rate them highly as a team and so I was very disappointed with the way in which they started this season after winning the league last season and remaining undefeated all the way through.

They started this year very badly and I gave up putting any money on them because of it, but they have really turned a corner the past couple of months and are once again playing some great football especially at home.

They are currently 3rd in the league but have 2 games in hand over Valerenga in 2nd place and are just 2 points behind them.

They are 10 points off league leaders Molde but a game in hand so they could close the gap to 7 points.

Although it looks unlikely, Rosenborg will not give up and they will hope to put Molde under a bit of pressure, also European qualification is not a formality yet and so tonight, as indeed any home game is for the Norwegian giants, this is a must win game.

Looking at their home form of late you would fancy them to beat anyone in front of their home fans.

They have won their last 7 games in a row conceding 4 goals whilst scoring a massive 25!

Rosenborg beat Molde 3-1 here recently and have had other eye catching results of 3-1 over Tromso, and a 7-0 thumping of Odd Grenland.

Rosenborg's unity looks as good as it has been all season and they are a constant threat again going forward.

Swedish veteran Prica still leads the attack and he is the leagues top goalscorer at present who is aided massively through the quality Rosenborg midfield .

Their opponents tonight Aalesund have relied heavily on their home form keeping them away from the drop zone this season and away from home they have been terrible.

They have won just 2 of their 12 away games and have failed to record one in any of their last 7.

Molde put 5 past them not long ago and since that defeat they have played 5 games failing to score a single goal in 4 of them.

After being put out of the Europa League in August, Aalesund now lack a lot of motivation for the remaining games of this campaign.

They are out of the race for European Qualification and pretty much safe from relegation, this game will not interest them even half as much as it will the hosts.

The last time Rosenborg met a side that I thought lacked motivation I predicted an easy win for the hosts and they delivered winning 4-1.

Tonight I see a lot of value in Rosenborg to Score in Both halves at 1.8 with Paddy Power.

They are as low as 1.2 with the same firm to win this game outright so they are clearly convinced as I am that it should be an easy win for the home side.

That's a big jump up in odds to 1.8 just for the goal in each half, take this bet and it wont matter if Rosenborg concede a silly goal as long as they continue their impressive goal scoring ways which I am confident they will.

Football Legends profile No 5 :- Michel Platini

Michel Platini was a French Midfielder and was born 21/6/1955.

He is known as one of footballs greatest ever finishers and free kick takers and enjoyed the best part of his career at Juventus where he won two Serie A Championships and a European cup and Cup Winners Cup.

Michel Platini was one of the best passers of the game and people used to say he could pass the ball through the eye of a needle.

Platini started his career in France playing for Nancy, where he enjoyed 7 seasons and went from there to Saint Etienne where he spent a further 3 years. All in all he scored a massive 209 goals from 358 games during his time in France.

He was quickly snapped up by Juventus where he played out the last 5 years of his football career scoring another 103 goals in 222 games.

At International level he earned 72 caps and scored 41 goals.
He won the 1984 European Championships with France and won the 3rd place playoff in the 1986 World Cup.

Michel Platini is still heavily involved in football and is the current president of UEFA.

I have added a video below with some of Platini's most memorable moments, please enjoy.

Football News :- Drogba on the move?

Reports are going around today suggesting  that Chelsea striker Didier Drogba could be on the move in the January.

Because of his age it is reported that Chelsea are only willing to offer the 33 year old a 1 year contract extension which Drogba is believed to have said he will reject.
The Ivory Coast forward is said to be only interested in signing a minimum 2 year deal.

Drogba's current contract runs out next summer and Chelsea could be willing to cut their losses now rather then risk losing him on a free transfer next year.

Bayern Munich are already on alert and are said to be interested in taking him from Stamford Bridge back to Germany whilst London Clubs Arsenal and Tottenham have also recently been linked with the powerhouse Forward.

Free Football Betting Tip:- Armed Forces v Home Utd *Over 2.5 Goals*

Armed Forces host Home United in the Singapore S League this lunchtime.

The Armed forces are a team that, not surprisingly,  represent the Singapore Armed Forces however it is not a requirement to actually be in the Armed Forces to play for this side.

They are actually the most successful team to ever play in the Singapore S League and have won 8 titles in the 15 years the league has been running for.

The S League, whilst it is a professional league, the standard of football is very low, especially the defending and that creates some of the most open games you will ever see.

Some of the defending is that bad it even adds comedy value to the games and I mean that with the greatest of respect but when you take a look at the bottom couple of clubs in the league its easy to see why.

Woodlands Wellington have already conceded 81 goals this season and above them Tanjong Pagar 68 goals.

The Armed Forces have played 26 games this season and have already scored 57 goals whilst conceding 28.
33 of those scored goals have come at home.

All of Armed forces last 5 games have gone over 2.5 goals and 4 of those games have gone over 3.5 goals.
At home their last 5 games in a row have also gone over 2.5 goals.

Home United have managed 64 goals from their 26 games this season and surprisingly the majority of their goals have come on their travels which aids this bet greatly.

5 of their last 6 games have gone over 2.5 goals.

Away from home 6 of their last 7 have also gone over 2.5 goals.

This is just a simple over 2.5 goals bet for, two teams that average scoring over 2 goals a game and both average conceding at least 1 a game, meet each other in a League in which defending can be at times non-existent.

On top of the that, they both have a game in hand over the league leaders so a win is important for their title challenge, especially for the home side as they trail by 7 points, a draw wouldn't be good enough and they will playing for the win today.

Any game in this league is normally priced very low for over 2.5 goals, sometimes as low as 1.3!

Today most bookies have this at around 1.6 which I would say is a fair price however Betinternet have this at 1.8, I'm not sure why but I reckon this price will shorten in the time before kick off so get on now.

Football News :- Kaka the latest target for big spending Anzhi Makhachkala

Brazilian ace Kaka is the latest transfer target for big spending Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala.

Last week we reported how the Russians were interested in plenty of different players including, Nene, Gerrard, Lampard, Ashley Cole, Anelka and Van Persie  just a few of the players they have their eyes on.

Now they have turned their attentions to Real Madrid's Kaka, since the arrival of Eto, Roberto Carlos has made it clear that the Russians will be aiming to tempt a number of world superstars to Anzhi Makhachkala and that they are making plans for some big money offers in January.

Arsenal had a loan offer turned down for 29 year old and were told only a big cash offer would tempt them to part ways with the attacking midfielder.

Well that is something that Anzhi Makhachkala should have no problem in doing with their billionaire owners so we will see what develops.

Free Football Betting Tip:- Barcelona -3 Asian Handicap v Racing Santander

European and Spanish Champions Barcelona welcome Racing Santander to the Nou Camp tonight in the Spanish La Liga.

Barcelona have looked excellent again this so far this season.

They may have been lucky to overcome Real Madrid in the Spanish Super Copa but their true Champions nature shone through in the end over 2 legs.

Since then in the league they have destroyed all 3 of the  teams they have played at the Nou Camp.

Firstly they recorded a 5-0 win over Villarreal, who themselves are regarded as one of the better teams in the League.

They then smashed 8 past Osasuna and most recently they beat Atletico Madrid 5-0, another team who are regarded highly.

So as you can see they are yet to concede a goal but have scored 18 in just 3 games, a phenomenal stat indeed!

Barcelona didn't need to add much during pre season to a team that were already being called ''the best team ever''.

The addition of Fabregas however has been a welcome one and I doubt the 24 year old ever expected to settle in so quickly.

He has been great and looks like he has been playing in that team for years, he's scored 4 goals already and has 4 assists to his name.

Messi has started this season the way he finished the last and the only way he knows how, by scoring a plenty, he already has 8 goals and 6 assists this season and he has linked up with Fabregas brilliantly.

It just looks at the moment that any team in the Spanish League travelling to the Nou Camp are going to be expecting to get routed except maybe Real Madrid.

So welcome Racing Santander, a side that in my opinion, are a complete shambles at the back, especially on the road.

Valencia and Atletico Madrid have both put 4 goals each past them in recent away games and they looked very poorly organised in those games.

They failed to score at Sporting Gijon in their last game but will probably have been pleased to take a 0-0 in the end.

I cannot fault their work ethic, they are hard worker's and they chase every ball but momentary lapses in concentration cost them dearly and Barcelona will take full advantage of those kind of situations tonight.

For me a Barcelona win tonight by at least 3 goals is a formality, I expect over 3 myself but to be on the safeside I am going for Barca to win with a -3 start.

This means if Barca did run out as 3 goal winners we would get our stake returned but to be honest I would be surprised if Barca didn't win by at least 4 goals.

This market is available at 2.04 with Titan bet which shows plenty of value with most bookies as low as 1.76 for the same handicap, this price wont last so act now!

Free Football Betting Tip:- Manchester City (SBH) v Aston Villa

Manchester City host Aston Villa this afternoon in the English Premier League.

Manchester City fans have been given plenty to cheer about so far in the Premiership and they are currently tied on points with Manchester United at the top of the league with 19 points each.

Whilst they may be slightly disappointed in their Champions League performances, it is still early days and in the Premier League they have looked a class above the majority of the sides they have played so far.

Manchester City have looked deadly in attack so far this season, after beating Swansea 4-0 on their opening game of the season they have followed up with wins of 2-3 1-5 and 3-0 over Bolton Tottenham and Wigan.

More Recently they beat Everton 2-0 and smashed Blackburn 0-4 at Ewood park just before the international break.

Aguero and Dzeko have been simply class netting 14 goals between them, Balotelli has had getting more playing time recently and he is also impressing me at the moment and may step in for Aguero today who has just recovered from a groin injury.

They play clever attacking football with the likes of Nasri, Silva and Toure linking up behind the front line, on their day they will cause any defence problems.

Their opponents today Aston Villa haven't started bad, they are in 7th place at the moment but have won just 1 game in their last 6 in all competitions.

They failed to beat Wolves, Newcastle and lost to Bolton in the League Cup at home.

Away from home they have drawn all 3 of their league games so far.

They held Fulham, Everton and QPR all too draws but today will be their biggest test so far and I don't feel the Villa defence will be able to hold that City attack off for long.

A lot of People are writing off this game today as a low scoring affair because of the international break, they expect players to be rusty or that some may find it difficult to adjust back to their club football.

Well after the last international break, Man City came straight back and swept Wigan aside 3-0 in a game that could have easily been 5 or 6.

I don't read too much into it, these are professional players and will be looking to get the job done today, especially if Manchester United were to drop points at Anfield this lunchtime, it would then give City a chance to go clear at the top of the league.

Manchester City were quick to gel together anyway with so many new players throughout the squad so that is no worry to be and that's why I expect City to get on the score sheet early or at least in the first half.

City are a best price 1.36 to win this game outright so for such an attacking team I see plenty of value in the 2.1 on offer at Totesport for Manchester City to Score In Both Halves of Football today and that's my pick.

Football Legends Profile No 4 :- Gabriel Batistuta

At number 4 in our football legends list is Argentine Striker Gabriel Batistuta.
He is the 10th highest ever goalscorer in Serie A scoring a massive 184 goals and spent the majority of his career at Fiorentina.

Basketball was actually Gabriel's favourite sport as a child which he was very good at because of his height advantage, it was only after watching Argentina in the 1978 World Cup that he became interested in football and lucky for Argentina that he did as he is now their top all time goal scorer with 56 goals.

He soon signed on as a youth player to Newells Old Boys where he spent a season before spending a year at River Plate.
Gabriel was then signed up for Boca Juniors where he spent 2 seasons scoring 18 goals and he was eventually spotted by Fiorentina in 1991.

He spent 9 long seasons at Fiorentina where he won a Serie B title and also the Coppa Italia in 1995.
In the year 2000 he moved to Roma where he spent 3 seasons and won his only Serie A title.

Late on in his career he moved to Inter where he played just 12 games and then eventually finished his playing time in Qatar for Al Arabi where he broke the club goalscoring record of 24 goals.

Batistuta now lives back in Argentina where he runs his own construction company but will always be remembered as one of the greatest strikers of all times.

Here is a video of some of his best goals, Enjoy.

Free Football Betting Tip:- Villarreal II v Girona *Over 2.5 Goals*

Villarreal II host Girona tonight in the Spanish Segunda Division.

Neither sides have got off to the starts they would have liked this season but the hosts will be the happier of the two sides picking up 10 points from their first 7 games.

Unlike England, in Spain reserve teams play in the same setup as their senior squads. The only rules are that they may not compete in the same league as their main team and cannot play in the Copa Del Ray.

So as long as the main Villarreal squad play their football in La Liga, this reserve squad will never gain promotion even if they went on to win the league.

Villarreal II are one of those reserve teams so are effectively made up of players, some young, some experienced players back from long term injury and some players simply out of favour.

I rarely will put money on the outright result on a match involving one of these reserve teams but the Goals markets always do interest me.

Especially when you read stats like this, Villarreal II have played 3 of their 7 games at home so far this season, those 3 games have involved a staggering 18 goals!

Their first a 3-4 defeat to Sabadell followed by a 3-3 draw with Guadalajara and then most recently  a 3-2 win over Gimnastic Tarragona.

Villarreal II have scored at least once in all of their last 14 games in all competitions.

They also only kept clean sheets in 2 of those 14 games and one of those was away from home.

They have the leagues top goal scorer in Joselu who has already bagged himself 6 goals and if he keeps it up the 20 year old  should earn himself a chance in the senior squad.

Their opponents today Girona have earned just 6 points so far from 7 games.

4 of those games have featured at least 3 goals and they also had a cup game in which they lost 5-1.

Girona have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their games so far this season which isn't the kind of record that looks set to change when a side that have scored in their 14 games comes to visit.

Away from home 4 of Girona's last 5 games in all competitions have gone over 2.5 goals.

Everything tonight points to another game featuring goals and so I am left scratching my head as to why the overs are priced so generously at 2.1 with the unders as low as 1.66 with some bookmakers.

What I feel it is however is the fact that last season Villarreal II really struggled for goals, especially in the latter half of the season, they have therefore gained a reputation with bookies as a low scoring home side.

The thing is with reserve sides, each year the teams differ so much, youngsters mature, players go out on loan, more players break through the system.

In short, reserve sides are usually very different sides on a year on year basis.

For example their leading star player who I mentioned earlier played just 130 minutes last season, obviously he was not matured enough at the time to fit into the starting 11 however look at him this season.

I don't feel the bookies take all of these kinds of things into account when they are compiling their odds and therefore the 2.1 on offer for over 2.5 goals in this match today shows some fantastic value, I would personally price this at at about 1.8 with the under's at least evens.

Take the 2.1 for Over 2.5 Goals with William Hill.

Football News :- QPR open to Beckham loan move

QPR Vice Chairman Amit Bhatia has told press that he has been in discussions with owner Tony Fernandez about starting a possible negotiation with LA Galaxy to bring David Beckham to London on loan when MLS finishes for the season.

The 36 year old icon has already expressed his wish to play on loan for a London club to boost his chances of being picked to play for team GB in the 2012 Olympics next year so talks of this move will not be too surprising for Hoops fans.

With plenty of big English sides playing in London it will be interesting to see if any others come forward for Beckham, it was not long ago when Harry Redknapp of Tottenham was talking of bringing the ex England Midfielder to White Hart Lane.

Football News:- Euro 2012 Could Be Over For Rooney

Wayne Rooney was yesterday hit with a 3 match ban for his sending off against Montenegro.

This ban will mean that Rooney will miss all 3 of the group stage matches of next years tournament to be held in Poland and Ukraine.

Fabio Capello now has a difficult decision on his hands with many ex players in England saying it would be pointless to bring him along in the 23 man squad, if England were to fail to qualify from the group stage then it would mean Rooney returning home without even kicking a ball, although if England did qualify then they would have a fresh looking Rooney eager for redemption.

What do you think? Should Rooney be included in the squad or should Capello give the available place to a striker who is eligible to play in all games?

England can appeal against the ban decision but should they fail then the ban can be extended to 4 games.

Football Legends profile No 3 :- Roberto Baggio

Roberto Baggio was an Italian Striker known as one of the best players of his generation.
He started his career at Vicenza in 1982, he played 3 seasons there and in the third he helped them win Serie C1.
Baggio was quickly snapped up Fiorentina in Serie A where he spent 5 seasons.
In 1990 he then went to Juventus where he also spent 5 seasons and won his first Serie A title in the final season.
Immediately the next season he lefot for AC Milan where he won his second Serie A title.
Baggio then had spells at Inter Milan and spent his remaining years at Brescia before retiring in 2004.
Overall Baggio scored a massive 292 goals at club level.

He is the only Italian player to score in 3 different World Cups and he made 56 appearances for his country scoring 26 times.
Baggio is best known to some people for all the wrong reasons, in the 1994 World Cup Final against Brazil, he took Italy's last penalty which he needed to score to keep Italy in it, however he hit the ball way over the crossbar and that would have been his lowest point in his career.

I will always remember Baggio for his high points though such as his European and World player of the year awards in 1993.
Here is a video with some of Roberto Baggio's best moments, I hope you enjoy it.

Transfer News:- Juventus in Talks With Manchester City Over Carlos Tevez?

Juventus have today confirmed rumours that they are indeed interested in negotiating a deal  with Manchester City over the possible transfer of Carlos Tevez but have confirmed they will not be making their move until the January transfer window opens.

With all the controversy surrounding the Argentine at the moment it well be deal that suits all, none more so then Tevez himself .

Tevez has been linked with a few clubs recently including Inter Milan, Bayern Munich and Brazilian Serie A leaders Corinthians but Juventus are the first to come in and admit they are planning to hold talks.

Football Legends profile No 2 :- Michael Laudrup

Michael Laudrup was a Danish midfielder who is known as the greatest Danish footballer of all time.
He started his career at FC Copenhagen and throughout his career played for Brondby, Lazio, Juventus, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Vissel Kobe and finished his career at Ajax.

Laudrup earned 104 caps for his country and scored 37 International goals.
He scored an amazing 122 club goals and has won some of footballs greatest honours including a Serie A title, 4 La Liga titles, a Dutch Eredivisie title and a European cup.

Laudrup has since gone on to become a manager and has had spells at Brondby, Getafe, Spartak Moscow and most recently Mallorca.

He is one of the true greats and I have posted a video below of some of his greatest goals of all time, enjoy!

He started his career at FC Copenhagen and

Fluminense v Cortiba Football Betting Tip *Over 2.5 goals*

Fluminense will welcome Cortiba to Rio tonight in a big game in the Brazilian Serie A.

This is a massive game for both clubs in which a draw would not suit either team.

Fluminense find themselves currently just 4 points outside of International qualification with a game in hand, which is this one tonight.

A win would see them close that gap on Sao Paulo and Flamengo to just 1 point which is the kind of position they nedd to be in with just 9 games left of the season after tonight.

Its so tight at the top of this league however that Fluminense will not have written their chances off of winning this league with only 7 points in it.

The hosts were desperately unlucky to not come home with all 3 points in their last game, they led 1-2 away at Flamengo only for a lapse of concentration in the last 3 minutes of the game to go and concede twice and lose 3-2.

That has been Fluminense all over this season, they have no problem scoring goals, especially at home, but they are so samba in defence that they often destroy all their good attacking performances by leaking goals at the back.

This is obvious when you take a look at their home record this season, whilst it has been extremely good in the fact that they have 10 of their 14 home games, they have failed to keep clean sheets in 9 of those games.
In fact in their last 5 home games alone they managed 11 goals whilst conceding 7 at the same time.

You can be sure they will attack at home though, they have scored in all of their last 9 home games and tonight will be no different I am sure.

4 out of 5 of their last league games have all gone over 2.5 goals with 3 of these games featuring at least 4 goals.

At home 5 of their last 6 have all gone over the same total.

They have some great attackers in the likes of Fred, Rafael Moura and Rafael Sobis who have scored a combined 23 goals so far this season.

Add to this Portuguese veteran Deco in midfield, whilst his best days are behind him, he is still a constant threat to opponents on the ball.

Their opponents today are in the same sort of boat.

Cortiba are 10th in the league yet still only 8 points off of International qualification, they need a win tonight to reduce that gap to 5 points.

A draw would be no good, it wouldn't give them a realistic chance of closing such a gap over just 9 games, especially with 11 other teams above and below them all in the same mix, so expect them to come out tonight looking for that win.

That will suit Fluminense's style of play and I expect to see a very open end to end game which should promise one thing, Goals!

Whilst Cortiba's recent games are no as promising in the goal department as their opponents, with 3 going over 2.5 goals and 3 going under in their last 6, this is the kind of game that will just draw it out of them.

Away from home though they have still managed to concede 9 times in their last 5 games and managing to score 4 themselves.

Also this season they won at Santos 2-3 and Mineiro 1-3 so they are more then capable of getting the job done when needed.

Cortiba have plenty in their frontlines to worry the Fluminense defence, the likes of Marcos Aurelio has been on fantastic form this season with 8 goals to his name and his compatriot Bill has fired in 10 goals.

Cortiba have shown they can be deadly on the counter attack this season and that is the kind of tactic they will most likely play tonight.

With Fluminense also so desperate for the win and in front of their home fans as they usually do they will have many men in front of the ball and when Cortiba retain the ball that is when they will be most deadly against an already very vulnerable Fluminense backline.

I expect goals tonight and I feel over 2.5 goals is very generously priced at 1.9 with Paddy Power, especially when so many bookies are as low as 1.75 in the very same market.

PORTO ACE HULK TO ARSENAL?

There have been several reports going around in the last couple of days that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has made a direct enquiry about the possible signing of Brazilian star Hulk.

The 25 year old forward has been linked to Manchester City and Inter Milan recently also but Wenger hopes to bring him to the Emirates stadium.
He will have a hard job in doing so if Porto's valuation of £87m is anything to go by with Wenger's offer reported to be just around the £23m mark.

Hulk's agent Teodoro Fonseca has told press he knows about the interest from many European clubs but he is convinced that Porto will not let Hulk go for under the asking price

HERNANDEZ SIGNS NEW 5 YEAR CONTRACT!

Just a couple of days ago we reported how Manchester United forward Javier Hernandez was a transfer target for Real Madrid for a rumoured £30Million.

Well today he puts all that talk to bed as he signs a new deal for the Red Devils in a contract that will keep him at the club until 2016

The 23 year old has seen his wage tripled from £25,000 a week to £75,000 a week in a contract which has added incentives with team performances.

The forward will be over the moon with his new deal, I doubt the same will be said for Jose Mourinho who was hoping to tempt the Mexican to the Bernabeu next year.

Football Legends profile No 1 :- Paolo Maldini

Paolo Maldini was an Italian Defender known by many as the best defender of all time.
He could play at left back or centre back and he retired from football in 2009 at the age of 41.

Maldini, one of the few legends that spent his whole career at the same club, AC Milan, he spent 25 seasons there.
Maldini earned 126 caps for Italy in an international career that last for 14 years and he played in 4 different world cups.
He was a born leader and captained both club and country, hence his nickname (ll Capitano)

During his Career he won many honours, including 7 Serie A titles, 5 European cup titles and a FIFA world club cup.

VIDIC SET TO RETIRE FROM INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL

Nemanja Vidic has announced he will retire form international duty after his nation Serbia failed to qualify for the world cup.
The 29 year old missed a penalty in their final qualifying game against Slovenia which cost them a playoff place.

Vidic said to press after the game ''Its time for a change of generations and for some older players to say goodbye to the Serbian jersey''

Inter Milan star Dejan Stankovic, 33, has also hung up his boots for Serbia after playing his 102nd game for his country.

Both of these experienced players will be sorely missed from the Serbia camp and it will be interesting to see how the new wave of players get on next year.

NO BET DAY!

Today is a very quiet and barren day on the football front, as it always is after a big International weekend.
I am not into taking big risks so today will be a no bet day for me.

After a very successful week where we have had 8 straight winners, it wont hurt to have a day off.

Lots too look forward to with this coming weekend however, all the big leagues from around the world are back in action and there are a few games iv been looking at closely for Friday as well.

Good luck to anyone out there that are prepared to take a risk on any of today's action and I will see you all tomorrow.

Well I have compiled the top 10 list, some of these stadiums everyone would have heard of but there are some surprises too.

Capacity:- 99,354

5) The Azardi Stadium is in Tehran, Iran and plays host to the Iranian National team as well as clubs sides Perespolis and Esteghlal  who have one of the most heated rivalries in the world. Capacity:- 100,000
